Westerland Farm
Westerlands Stud forms part of the Graffham Estate, located in the picturesque South Downs National Park in West Sussex. Set in 300 acres of grazing land, it offers stabling for race horses, as well as breading its own blood line. The stud also owns 500 acres of its own woodlands.
The running of the estate was passed to the next generation who were keen to improve the efficiency of the Estate, we were bought onboard to offer our expert advice and deliver change.

St Raphael's
St Raphael's is a part of the Augustinian Care Home Group and is in St George's Park, in East Sussex. The property consumed high volumes of oil and we were asked to do an energy audit to understand the options available to reduce costs and carbon. It was important to the home that the transition to renewable had minimal impact on the residents.

Brocket Hall Estate
Brocket Hall estate is 543 acres which is home to a Grade I listed building dating from 1760. It has many uses, such as a golf club, luxury events venue, film location, dining and residential. Most of the buildings on site have listed status; many of the interiors are exquisitely decorated and with original
features.
We were retained to carry out an energy survey of all of the Brocket Hall Estate, and to develop a costed plan for energy improvements.

Pen-y-Pass YHA
The Youth Hostel Association own over 150 properties in the UK many of which are off gas grid in remote and dramatic locations. Pen-y-Pass is at the foot of Mount Snowdon in North Wales and presented both challenging weather & logistical conditions for the PM team.
The YHA were keen to reduce their carbon footprint and reliance in inefficient fossil fuels and utilise available government grant to assist with the project costs.

Camelia Botnar Foundation
Camelia Botnar are a charity in West Sussex, residing in a country house, off gas grid, with old oil boilers running 24x7 with limited controls. The trustees have taken a long term view to future proof the properties with a phased approach. As their energy advisors, our challenge was assessing the options available to them, and the associated paybacks in establishing a renewable energy replacements.
